Name: Bianh (pronounced "Bee-yawn") Alias: “Lupine Magician,” “Magician’s Playwright,” etc… Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: The one-piece suit she wears is made of a thin, tight-fitting cloth that breathes deeply. It is smooth against the skin and silent when it brushes against itself. The suit itself is split into three sections, once across her chest, then again across her waist. The top and bottom sections of the suit were obnoxiously orange, while the center of the suit was as black as her pupils. She wears a wide-cuffed orange glove on her right hand, cutting off the black suit at the wrist, and a black leather glove on the left, cutting off the orange. The only other disruption to the blackness of the suit is a strange design set in the center. Three dots traced in a wide downward curve across her chest. The one on the right is white, contrasting the blackness of the suit. The dot to the far left is black, outlined by the thinnest ring of white. The dot in the exact center between the two is silver, outlined by a thin line of black, and then a thin line of white. Stretching down from the dots each was a line of sapphire blue, which moved inward until they touched at a forth dot, this one the crimson of spilt blood. The line that traveled downward from the crimson dot was made of up intertwined threads of all of the primary colors. They twisted around each other, until they reached the final dot. This dot, inlaid directly over her belly button, was of a crystalline gem that held no single color, but which seemed to change colors for each person gazing upon it, never still. There were heeled boots sewn into the outfit so that there were part of the strange outfit, and the cape she wears has a hole in it large enough for her to fit her head through, the front part working to cover her face. The material ends just below her eyes, arching upward in the center to cover the topmost part of her nose. She breathes easily through the airy material, but its pattern-less design successfully hides the fact that her mouth is moving when she speaks. The long cape is of a haphazard, patternless design. Half sewn, half patched, the cape is orange, black, purple, and dark brown and, without contest, the uglist thing in the universe. This makes it one of Bianh's most prized possessions, though no one knows where she got such a hideous thing. Bianh also wears a "hat" that looks very much like the headdress of a court jester, as black as the center of her suit. It dips down in the center, but rises to either side like opposing fangs, pulled backward only slightly, the tips reaching down almost to align with the base of her chin. The front of the headdress cups her forehead snugly, stretching down to a point between her eyes and almost touching the mirror tip of her face-covering. Beneath this confining headdress, her long hair is silver and flowing, though she rarely ever lets it be seen. Bianh can appear to have an almost child-like appearance, which she uses to manipulate others to her will. She has slender hands, with sharp claws, and a pair of gleaming lupine fangs. Her eyes are shaped like those of a wolf, but are miasma in nature, meaning that they change color depending upon her mood. She has a long black tail and large pointed wolf-ears, but these are hidden within the confines of her garb.
Bio: Born into a clan of lupine anima, Bianh was always a bit of an outcast, far too curious for her own good, often musing on the intricate hilarities of life and fate. She has a vivid and often disturbing imagination, which can be a fearsome opponent in itself when one is faced up against her many possible ideas. Breaking away from her family at a young age, Bianh chose to go out on her own and explore the world. Finding other species (especially humans) amusing to say the least, she spends a great deal of her time annoying their kind, and gets a kick out of watching their emotions jump from one extreme to the next. With her love of the shadows and night, and her fearsome imagination, Bianh is often thought to be evil. She enjoys taunting others with her knowledge, often doing so in a rhyming sing-song voice while dancing out of their reach, but when the subject turns to her own life and origins, she becomes close-lipped and can often get physically defensive. She does not fear death, confident that, even should she be killed, she would be reborn in a form even more suited to her purposes, and so she dances within the world as something of an anomaly.

No spells as of now.
Items: Two Potions Weapon: The staff Bianh carries is made of a hard mahogany wood, but is black, much thanks to a spell crafted by her father before she left their clan. Nearly as long as she is tall, the staff is far lighter than it should have been, crooked in its center where it seems to suddenly shift mild direction. At the top of the staff, the wood fans out and forms something of a cubby-hole. Inlaid in that cupped wood is a shining crystal that changes color from clear to pink to blue, depending on the angle and intensity of the sun’s rays upon it. The wood curves down over it, holding it in place, much like Bianh's headdress curved down to cup her forehead.

Your profile will be accepted or denied based on the sample you provide, as well as the overall profile. Ohh, I'm really loving your character. *____* If you need help with anything, please feel free to ask! On the flip side, if you finish, feel free to post about that and I'll just move your topic to the Finished Applications section. ^^

I'm glad you like it. ^_^ It excites me. Bianh is one of my favorite characters.
I'm actually a little confused on how to do the stats. I'm a writer, not a mathematician, and I'll concede to that right now. I'm a tad confused, however, when you say you need ranges for stats, but no numbers. Quite frankly, I don't know what to put. Heh.
And still trying to decide what to write for the sample...
Much thanks!

Ahh, the stats. I know they're confusing, so I suppose I'll do my best to explain:
High ranges from 25 to 30 Slightly high ranges from 21 to 24 Average is 20 Slightly low ranges from 16 to 19 Low ranges from 1 to 15
When you get accepted, I "roll" out your stats with a number generator, so no two people could actually get the same stats--and because I like leaving initial stats up to luck, because it's more exciting that way. XD
*gives a thumbs up* Again, if you need any help, don't be afraid to ask! ^_^

Oh, well, that's simple to understand, and the random number drawing is definitely an interesting way to do it. Saves people calling you biased or whatnot.
I was reading through the Classes and Races bit, trying to figure the stats, when it mentions that Magicians can have one magic high. That I get, but I'm a bit stuck as on which to choose.
Magic Attack and Defense is pretty self-explanatory, and I was going to go with my high being Magic Power. However, before I decide that, as I see that it's a permanent decision, could you explain what Magic Special is? I have a theory, but I want to make sure I'm right, and I don't know if that even pertains to now.
Ummm... here's what I was thinking for stats. I'm hoping I did it right, but I don't want to make it permanent, as I said, until I understand what all the Magic Stats mean.
Attack: High. Defense: Average. HP: Low? Special: Low.
Magical Attack: Low. Magical Defense: Low. Magical Special: Low. Magic Power: High.
Thanks, Riyna.

Wow, talk about overkill. This is the way my life works. Professors ask for a 2-3 page essay, I give them 10 pages. You ask for 1-2 paragraphs, I offer up an entire book. Behold, my writing sample, which is mildly disturbing in the fact that "wow! I didn't know Bianh could do that!" heh. Hope you like it!
Writing sample:
The dust whispered up from the ground as though her shadow was evaporating into tendrils of smoke, wafting around her form as she slid her feet apart, her booted heels digging into the ancient earth. Her eyes, now the color of the sky as a storm gathered, stared ahead with a glimmer of impatience that hid itself behind the layers of amusement that rarely left her gleaming irises. She gripped her staff tightly in her orange-gloved right hand, her thumb unconsciously moving over the smooth mahogany wood that the staff was originally carved from. The crystal at its top glimmered in recognition of her presence and the inevitable fight that lay before her, but like her eyes, it showed no fear. Before them, the creature rose from the ancient, lonely earth, dust rising from its scaly flesh like steam, dirt rolling down its back and falling to the ground with all of the grace of a waterfall. It lifted its head free from the ground for the first time in what must have been ages, tearing long, dangerously-sharp claws from the greedy clutches of the roots that hugged the ground. A long, blue-scaled tail whipped behind the creature, throwing sod and dead grasses mercilessly into the air, as the creature ripped itself from the earth’s unworthy confines. It snorted loudly, a tornado of hot air and dusty earth exploding over Bianh, but she did not twitch, even as the creature pulled back heavy lids to reveal eyes as red as the blood that flowed through her veins, that which was the greatest ally of her existence but which could, with one mistaken move, become her greatest enemy.
Oh, sweet mortality, how you mock the creatures of this world.
“You have revealed to me my prison, half-breed, and so have tainted my pride.” The voice, loud, groaning, shook the very earth on which she stood, sending up dust that, had her face covering not shielded her, might have suffocated her small, mortal lungs.
For the first time in minutes, Bianh moved. Her stormy eyes seemed to swirl like dark clouds trapped within a ferocious, angry wind. The butt of her staff touched the ground as she offered the creature a small, mocking bow. “That is to be expected, oh great one,” she admitted, and her sweet voice held the amusement that her eyes so easily betrayed. “Such a thing was, after all, my purpose.”
The great beast released an angry growl at her mockery, crimson eyes flashing in a nearly innate version of hatred. “Your insolence is infuriating,” his growled beyond massive Jurassic fangs. “I will do away with such a pathetic creature and thus, restore my pride.”
Bianh smiled, as her eyes shifted to a violet swirling of her irises’ personal storm. “I might ask how you would intend to restore your honor through the defeat of a pathetic creature, but I find I’m not concerned enough to bother with such trivial nonsense.” She tossed her staff, catching it instead in her left hand, and gave another mocking bow. “Shall we begin?”
The infuriated reptilian beast lunged forward angrily, great saurian jaws snapping. Bianh released an amused chuckle, as she leapt gracefully backward from the creature’s scaled lips. Her feet touched ground again, sending up tendrils of smoking dust, as the beast roared angrily at her mocking form. She offered him a smile that did not reveal itself beyond the facemask she wore over her mouth, but her amusement had never left her eyes. Her very existence mocked the great beast, and with a heart of fury, he tore his body from the immobility of hundreds of years and raced toward her on scaly legs and ancient rusty claws.
Dust rose around his racing form as he dragged massive legs through the dirt, clouds concealing the back part of his form in a tornado of choking earth. He raked a ferocious taloned fist through the air at his opponent, but Bianh, waiting for such an action, moved with his claws as though she were the dancing partner of Death herself. She raised her staff, expertly slamming the butt of it into the leg of the reptile, as the claws of her other hand ripped fiercely past the scaled flesh of the beast, calling forth the crimson blood that marked his shamed mortality. The beast roared in rage and pain as his thick blood, as crimson as his glowing eyes, dripped to the ground. Bianh spun away, her cloak billowing behind her like the flag of her victory, as she danced just out of the creature’s reach.
Blood soaking into the ground, wetting the dirt to the floor and forbidden great clouds to rise about him, the reptilian monster moved forward again. Bianh met him halfway, accepting his unspoken offer to a dance of death, and moving with his raking claws and snapping jaws, meeting his ferocious blows with her own slender hands or smooth, cold-hearted staff.
The beast snarled in anger, as Bianh gave him a mocking wink and gracefully spun away just before his claws could catch her slender form and tear her into pieces. For a moment, the creature seemed to waver, his eyes glazing in a wave of weakness as the amount of blood he had lost from the cut across one of his main veins finally began to take its toll. But the beast was strong; mortal, but strong, and he would not permit himself to be defeated by such a frivolous creature as this dancing fool! No, no, he had not revealed all of what he was yet, and now it had come time for those decades of being locked away to finally be cast aside, his true self revealed in the fires of his powerful, ancient soul.
He reared back, ignoring how the blood gushed from the wound of his nearly useless right wrist, as he pulled his head back and steadied his massive form on powerful hind legs. His tail lay back behind him, steadying such a beautiful form, as he opened his mouth and inhaled a deep sweet breath of the free air around him.
His breath stopped with snap, his crimson eyes widening in surprise at what had happened. No, no… this couldn’t be true. It couldn’t.
His eyes glared down at her form, slender, young, and child-like, but all of this held some deeper secret. Those eyes, first stormy grey, then violet, and now as crimson as the blood which flowed freely from his failing form, were narrowed with dark intentions, but glittering with amusement. Was it the look of Death’s approach in his crimson eyes that amused her – the slow glazing of his gaze so that her form became blurry to his vision? Perhaps she found mortality itself amusing, as his blood coated her gloved hands, rolling down her dark staff from its position, jammed tightly into the jugular vein of his throat. She reached up and pulled down the face covering, revealing a soft smile and gleaming lupine fangs.
“You didn’t honestly think you had a chance, did you?” she asked, and her voice, sweet and melodious, was so amused.
He blinked, trying to clear the blurry edges from his vision, but they only moved in closer. He tried to speak, but there was no more strength with which to do so, and his throat had been torn apart. Blood gushed from the gaping wound, as she pulled her staff free, and he realized that nothing else had been holding him up. He collapsed to the ground in the blood-soaked dirt that found him unworthy of its dusty dancing, and he lay there, watching as his successful opponent walked slowly forward, unable to see the color of her eyes beyond his fading vision.
She knelt down near him and he watched her face, wishing he could see her expression clearly. He barely felt any pain as she tore his left canine from his jaw and held it up to her eyes to examine it. She turned her gaze to his failing eyes.
“I suppose I might have removed such a simple item while you remained asleep,” she admitted, as though the thought had not previously occurred to her. She smiled then, and those lupine fangs gleamed. “Though, this was much more fun.”
He watched her rise to her feet and replace her face mask, hiding that amused smile, those lupine fangs, from the sight of the world. She turned from him, that haphazard, pattern-less cloak billowing behind her and mocking the last of his few moments on this earth. As he watched her go, he had to wonder how a creature so young could defeat one as old and powerful as he. But then, he admitted, mortality was a fickle creature.
The light left his crimson eyes, their bloody centers dulling, and all the fires of his rage and flaming soul flickered into darkness, as Death whispered soft words into his ear, and embraced him tightly in cold, welcoming arms.

(Ah! The numbers roll differently for MP and HP and I forgot to mention that in my last explanation. If you'd like to explain, I'd be more than happy to. XD)
A magic special is the same as a regular special--it's a flashy attack, much like a signature move of sorts. Case in point, the boss we've recently defeated--his special was an area attack .
Ohhh, I'm -really- liking your character. Would you like me to move this to Finished, or did you want some last minute adjustments?

Ummm... yes, I'm thinking that I may just be done with Bianh, just so as I know that I did her stats right. She gets High Attack and one High Magic, but the rest are low, right?
Anyways, I'll leave her Magic Power high. That would seem to be most helpful. ^_^ Thanks a bunch!

Class trumps race, so I'll bump her Attack down to Slightly High--if you're lucky, it won't make too much of a difference. XD
Other then that, I see no problem with her profile! Accepted--feel free to repost in the characters section and start playing! ^__^
