When the frosty girl left abruptly, leaving the group to choose between the merchants in need and getting some answers, Meskah couldn't help but allow his ears to flatten against his head. Sure he wanted to know what was going on, but couldn't that be done while helping out other people?
Kupunah, sometimes, I think these other creatures might be....kind of rude.
He flicked an ear when he saw Ashki head back inside, deciding he could just ask her for an update later. Turning heel, the anima went to join the others who had gone to help the merchants.
"Ah, weary travelers, what may we help you with?"

Bianh hummed in a barely audible tone as she took in the characters around her. She caught a blue gaze focused momentarily upon her and turned to regard the girl who owned said gaze. She was older than Bianh, with hair as crimson as fire. Bianh couldn't contain the smirk from touching her lips, as she saw the girl take a step away from she, Codam, and the other creature who had just spoken to the merchants.
Momentarily ignoring the continued lacking of a reply from said people in need, Bianh skipped lightly over to the fire-haired girl. She forsook modesty and moved right in front of the girl, sticking her face up close enough to the human's that their noses almost touched. She grinned madly, though no one would see such an expression through her face-covering. The only indicator would likely be the crinkling of her eyes at the corners, and the fact that her irises took on an orange hue that made her bodysuit pale in comparison.
"Welcome, welcome, and let's play a game," Bianh chirped pleasantly to the nameless girl before her. "I'll tell you mine, if you tell me your name?" She barely restrained a giggle, the creation of the rhyme calling forth a fluttering sensation within her chest. Oh, how she loved poetry!!
OOC: Sorry, I'm just so bored, so I figured I would do something. Hope nobody minds! Besides, Bianh needs a new friend, or a new person to annoy, at least. I think Cody's getting used to me.

Karras took a mental note on the anima that joined them before suddenly finding herself staring eye-to-eye with the most brilliant of orange hues Karras had never before seen in an eye. Her feet stayed planted, but the rest of her body reacted to the sudden close proximity of the girl. She leaned back, her legs bending slightly as her body moved away. Well, most of her body, anyway.
"You are peculiar," Karras said, not quite sure why she was speaking at all. "You go from wanting to kill something to being as bubbly as a brook." Feeling her legs tiring quickly in this peculiar position, Karras decided she must reply in order for the girl to go away. "I am-" She paused, and after debating the possible consequences of introducting herself with a longer name, decided to take the shorter route. "Karras," she said shortly. "Just, Karras."

"Ah," Bianh said, with a continuing grin, as the girl leaned back almost imperceptibly, "but my, it does keep you guessing, does it not? To switch temperaments so swiftly, I'm not liable to be caught."
She tilted her head to the side thoughtfully. "Karras, Karras, 'tis a pleasure to be in your sight." She gave an overzealous bow of introduction, the crystal on the end of her staff glittering in the light. "I am Bianh, Magician's Playwright."
Spinning her staff suddenly, she swung her arm back and let it connect to the disguised holster on her back, freeing both of her hands. "So, tell me, my new human companion," she offered, forsaking the rhyme in hopes of gaining some information, as her irises changed from brilliant orange to a soft, curious yellow, much like the irises of a wolf, "what brings you on this quest with such people?"

"My new human companion."
Karras almost didn't register anything that was said after that. She could almost feel a twitch under her eye. Her human companion.
"I am not YOUR human companion," Karras said coldly. "I belong to no one unless I so choose to be. As for my purpose, I choose to help these merchant, for my services to belong to their need." Karras stepped back, righting herself before settling her shoulders. "I, myself, belongs to no one."

Bianh blinked at the sudden defensiveness of the girl before her. "My, we are touchy, aren't we?" she asked. She grinned suddenly. "Fear not, Karras-dear, I never have been very fond of pets, so I'll stake no claim on your freedom."
Looking around, she spotted a solitary tree and happily dug her claws into the bark and climbed up amongst the branches, settling comfortably and yawning exaggeratedly. "This is brilliantly boring," she admitted, stretching her legs out. "Come on - where's the adventure? Where's the glory?" She sighed and looked down at Codam, then at Karras, before taking in the rest of the nearby people. "If anything, where's the bloody danger? I was hoping for a good thrill."
